About Tech Tansfer Summit Europe 2011

19-20 September 2011, Paris, France

Technology Transfer, Collaboration, Partnering & Licensing

Launched in 2007 as the first major tech transfer and licensing meeting for the life sciences, the Tech Transfer Summit Europe (TTS Europe) has become the leading European meeting for early stage biotech sector and industry-academia licensing and business development and has led to the development of the Global Tech Transfer Summit Initiative.

Returning to Paris, the 5th Annual TTS Europe, is an integral part of the Global TTS Initiative which is designed predominantly, but not exclusively, to aid Tech Transfer Offices, research institutes, innovators, entrepreneurs and early stage Biotech SMEs in their quest to build expertise and relationships that enable bottom-line business while at the same time enabling big pharma, biotech and life sciences industry corporations in their Business Development and licensing efforts to source new platform technologies and product candidates and fill their pipelines.

The instigation of collaborations, partnering deals and licensing agreements, and financial investments remains the prerequisite in establishing benefit to universities, institutes, departments and researchers, and ultimately shareholders and indeed BioRegions and society at large. The sourcing and propagation of innovative research to the commercial market remains the single most important issue for large corporations.

The Summit presents the most impressive line-up of leading Big Pharma and like-Industry Licensing & Business Development Executives, leading Biotech Venture Capitalists, alongside leading International and European Funding Agencies.

In addition, the European Summit is not exclusively reserved for TTOs and Biotech Start-Ups. It presents a unique opportunity for C-level Biotech Executives and SMEs who are seeking either to collaborate with or in-license from universities and institutes alike. Furthermore, its value is apparent to those who have technology or products for industry and understand the value of 2 days of qualitative interactive discussion with top industry Licensing Executives.

Participation of many of the leading International and European Tech Transfer Offices, C-level Biotech executives, SMEs, many of the most active Venture Capitalists, and leading Pharma and like-Industry Licensing & Business Development executives is assured!

The one event no Tech Transfer Officer, C-level Biotech Executive, Industry Licensing Executive, or BioRegion Director should miss.

The TTS Europe is a must attend initiative. The TTS Europe is the opportunity to meet with senior international stakeholders, not just for a quick "in the box" meeting, but for 2 days in an exclusive, qualitative and highly interactive setting that can be found nowhere else. The Summit format is designed specifically to disseminate knowledge, experience and best practices, and most importantly to foster licensing, partnering, technology transfer, and to provide you the relationships you need to move your company, project or technology transfer office forward.

In 2 days the TTS Europe will allow you to build better and stronger business relationships than in years of traveling around to large conferences and regional events.

Finally, for Pharma and like-industry Licensing Executives, external R&D Directors, Business Development managers, SMEs,  C-level Biotech executives seeking to fill your pipeline, the TTS Europe is your ideal opportunity to meet the Gatekeepers of Innovation and source of deal flow from leading universities and research institutes across Europe!  Not just a series of presentations, but direct interaction with the innovators and technology transfer officers representing Europe's leading universities, research institutes, science parks, as well as early stage SMEs, local biotech sector leaders and industry, the Summit is an un-matched opportunity for accessing world-class European science.

Previous TTS Europe’s registrants verify the Summit’s role as the premier international platform for innovative early stage biotech Industry-Academia partnering, licensing and collaboration. In order to ensure that the Summit conforms to the Global TTS Initiative’s mantra of “quality not quantity” participation in the Summit is strictly limited.
